You shouldn’t, unless minutes matter. Free tells you a service is down when you go look. Pro is about being told — faster probes, delivery into Slack, and history you can point to in a post-incident review.

What happens to the free tier over time?

It stays. Free checks and per-service email alerts are the product’s core promise, and the paid plan exists precisely so we never need ads or dark patterns to fund them.

Can I get an invoice / pay yearly / pay for a team?
