How it works
Each row in your dashboard fetches the latest official-status snapshot for that service via our standard pipeline — the same logic that powers the per-service /status/[slug] pages. When a service is in our catalogue, you also get a deep link straight to its full signal breakdown.
The shareable URL encodes the slug list in the query string, so a saved dashboard is literally that URL. No accounts, no sync, no extension required.

How is this different from a stack-monitoring SaaS?
No agents, no integrations, no accounts. Every signal we use is already public (vendor Statuspages, our own probes, community reports). The tool is read-only and the dashboard is a URL.
Can my team share the same dashboard?
Yes — send them the generated URL. Anyone with the link sees the same view.
What happens when a service in my dashboard retires?
It still resolves: retired services route to the shutdown archive entry so you can see when and why it ended.
